About Melissa
The short version?
I work with thoughtful, successful people who look like they’ve got their life together…
…but privately feel like they’ve disappeared somewhere along the way.
The ones who’ve spent years being the responsible one.
The dependable one.
The one who can handle anything.
The ones who quietly carry a lot.
Because that used to be me too.
And at some point you start wondering:
“Hang on… when the heck did my life stop actually feeling like mine?”
That moment?
That’s usually where our work begins.
My Story My career started in a place you probably wouldn’t expect.
I was an industrial chemist, trained to analyse systems, solve problems and make things work.
On paper, life looked successful.
But life has a way of shaking the identities we build for ourselves.
Over the years I moved through some pretty big identity shifts…
Leaving the religion I grew up in.
Divorce.
Ovarian Cancer.
Each of those moments forced the same uncomfortable question:
Who am I when the roles and expectations fall away?
That question started a personal journey of reconstructing my life from the inside out.
Where Science Meets Soul Today my work sits at the intersection of science, behavioural insight and intuition.
The analytical part of my brain still loves understanding how systems work, except now the systems I explore are things like identity, behaviour and human patterns.
I use tools such as:
• Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
• Hypnosis
• Timeline Therapy
• Identity reconstruction work
• Animal communication
It might sound like an unusual combination.
But transformation isn’t purely logical.
We can analyse our lives all day long, but lasting change happens when we also work with the deeper patterns running beneath the surface.
Why I Do This Work I wrote my book Quiet Achievers because I kept meeting the same type of person.
Capable.
Thoughtful.
Successful on the outside.
Yet quietly wondering if the life they have built actually reflects who they are anymore.
They’ve done everything “right”.
Yet something still feels… off.
I guide people to step out of identities that no longer fit and rebuild their identity from the inside out.
Not by blowing your life up.
But by owning your stuff, understanding your patterns, and choosing what comes next more consciously.
Because here’s the thing:
You’re wildly capable.
Sometimes what’s needed isn’t more effort, it’s space, honest conversations and the kind of deep identity work that helps you see yourself clearly again.
A Bit More About Me I’m an international best-selling author, certified master coach, degree qualified analytical chemist and animal communicator.
But beyond the titles, I love rock concerts and enjoy the simplicity of camping.
I also have a habit of collecting feathers I find along the way. I don’t go looking for them, they just tend to appear.
For me, they’re a quiet reminder to pay attention and trust what I’m drawn to, even when it doesn’t make logical sense.
That balance, between structure and instinct is something that shapes not just how I live, but how I work.
And I have a slightly unusual travel hobby – I’m obsessed with historical bridges.
Wherever I travel, I’m usually hunting down old bridges.
Why?…Because bridges represent something powerful to me.
They connect two places.
They require structure.
And you can’t cross one without leaving where you started.
Which, when you think about it…is exactly what identity change looks like.
The Bottom Line… I believe you’re allowed to reinvent who you are… More than once.
And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is stop performing the life you’ve built… and start creating the one that feels like yours.
If you’re standing at the edge ready for that conversation, you’re in the right place to take the next step.
